Reception is open from 07.30am-22.00pm, after this if urgent /emergency please ring the bell at the reception desk for assistance. You may checkout from 07:30am, however if you require an earlier checkout, please settle any outstanding payment the night before and you can leave your key at reception on your departure in the key box.
Rooms must be vacated by 10:30am. Check in time is from 15:00pm. Hotel doors will be locked at night access is with your White Room Card. (Scan the keypad outside the door, you will hear the door beep then push open).
EMERGENCY PROCEDURES - We ask you to familiarise yourself with the emergency plan on the back of your bedroom door. In the unlikely event of an emergency, alarms will be activated, and we will ask you to evacuate the building via the nearest exit, following the evacuation signs. Staff will be on hand to assist.
FIRE DRILL & ASSEMBLY POINT - Please don’t be alarmed when we test our system at 11:00am every Monday to ensure everything is in working order. If the alarm goes off outside of this time, please exit the building and make your way to the car park at the rear of the building.
BEDROOMS WITH FIRE EXIT DOORS – the fire exit doors in bedrooms MUST NOT be opened, only in an emergency, when doors are opened it sets off an alarm in the hotel.
FIRST AID – We have first aid kits available throughout the hotel at reception and bar area. The nearest defibrillator is located on the wall by Londis (next door).
SMOKING - All areas of the hotel have a strict legal requirement of a non-smoking policy; we have an outside smoking area at the front and rear of the hotel for guests to use. A charge of £150 will be applied to the room account for any guest who contravenes this rule.
BREAKFAST – A full cooked breakfast is available for £12.99 per guest every morning and is served from 7:30am to 9:30am, we ask that all guests requiring breakfast complete the breakfast form available from reception and post it through the post box at reception the night before.
HOUSEKEEPING - Rooms will be serviced during your stay, including fresh towels and toiletries, please ask at the reception desk for ironing facilities.
ROOM DAMAGE & LOST KEYS -Guests will be charged for any damage. Lost room keys will be charged £20.00

DOG FRIENDLY MENU & STAYS
Our hotel offers a unique and unforgettable experience for both you and your dog, with stunning countryside views, breath taking scenery, and plenty of activities for both of you to enjoy. Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is the highest mountain in Wales and England. It's one of our most famous and recognizable landmarks and is well worth a visit and just 25 minute drive from The Gwydyr Hotel.

Here at the Gwydyr we offer two separate menus; Bar and Restaurant. Our Bar menu is available from 12:00pm through to 20:30pm Monday to Saturday. Our Restaurant menu is available from 17:00pm through to 20:30pm Wednesday to Saturday. Sunday lunch is available from 12:00pm onwards every Sunday.
